Red Tag

Red Tag knows his job inside and out as the longest standing member of the H.A.L.T.E.R. program. Being blind in one eye doesn’t hold this guy back. Red Tag is very capable of taking good care of each of his riders. He works very well with our more independent participants. Ginger

This gal has got a heart of gold when it comes to working with the kids. Ginger wins people over with her kind eyes and tremendous amounts of patience. Her ability to ease the fears of newcomer riders makes her an instant favorite. She really likes having her mane braided too!

Shadow

As the shortest member of H.A.L.T.E.R., Shadow loves food and being groomed. His movement is beautiful to watch, especially his “floaty” trot. Those who know Shadow would say he hides his age well due to his never ending spunkiness. He has a lot of passion when it comes to working in the H.A.L.T.E.R. program, and attracts people with his forward ears and bright expression.

Drummer

Drummer’s “Can Do” attitude helps his riders to quickly build confidence in their horse skills. He is effortless when it comes to connecting with the people he works with. Drummer is a very kind and loyal soul and is quite a big fan of attention. He is very smooth to ride and enjoys following people around.

Matte

Matte is the newest addition to the H.A.L.T.E.R. team. He is a beautiful sorrel quarter horse. He too was a hunter jumper pony. His gaits are smooth and easy to ride and is already helping riders learn to walk, trot and canter.

George

George is a retired hunter pony with a lot of personality. He is the youngest member of the group and has had quite a bit of training before joining the H.A.L.T.E.R. team. George loves people and is usually the first one to meet you when its time to bring the horses in. He is very spoiled and loves being scratched on his withers and behind his ears.
