Also a big thank you goes to Judy Coleman at Coleman Farm Supply for donating halter and lead rope sets and to Tractor Supply for $15 gift cards.

We hope to have another fun trail ride fundraiser this fall. Dates will be set up this summer.

A TRIVIA TRAIL PURSUIT POKER RIDE
LIST OF RULES:

1. Riders must register (teams of 1-4 persons) and be at the starting gate anytime after 8:30 a.m. and no later than 11:00 a.m. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Riders will be given a blank card and a pencil on which to write the answers to the eight trivia questions they encounter in the woods.
3. These trivia questions (from the horse world) will be numbered and written on signs posted along the trail.
4. Riders must follow the arrows designating the route to take and return within the given amount of time (to be calculated at a walk). Late arrivals will be disqualified.
5. Upon return to the start/finish line, the team “trail boss” will present the answer card to the judges for scoring.
6. The team will be dealt one card per correct answer (judges’ decision is final).
7. A 5 card poker hand for the team is chosen from the cards received. A five card hand is required in order to play and qualify for prizes.
8. Up to three additional cards can be bought for $5 each. (This is not necessary, but makes it possible to create a five card hand if short OR to take a chance of improving current hand.)
9. Judges will receive and record each team’s poker hand and rank according to a posted chart of high to low hands.
10. Prizes will be given for the BEST HAND ($500) and second , third, and fourth place, along with the WORST HAND and other assorted “fun” recognition of participants.
11. Lunch is included in the entry fee and will be served between 11:30 and 1:30.
12. Awards will be presented at or close to 1:30. You do not need to be present to win; however, you will miss a lot of the fun if you are not!

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY TRAILS TO ALL!
